226 pages now of letdown's what a ridiculous month with about 10 flakes of snow unless a Beast From The East is nailed on i'm not the same enthusiastic person.

Front is going to pivot whilst dying out it will then head south so that stuff to the south west will go into the Chanel. Look north for this evening...

You could be right... The next few radar runs should give us an indication.

Superb! Looks like You’ve done well considering Ramsey is practically at sea level

It might be more right than the radar, I can assure you there's no ppn in Dover at the min, although we'll see what happens cause it's clouding over again, it was a sunny spell just now.

I got beeped today for stopping at a roundabout for three seconds to literally clean my driver side window so I could actually see what was coming! Some people are just idiots.

If somebody had done that to me, I’d have got out and cleaned my passenger side windows too.

Given your location I think a BFTE is your most snow sure event - I would have said the same for my location in Surrey but today was the best single snow event since 2010 , we can always get surprised!

Yes Peterborough looks like it has been in a great location today (far enough west) Benefited from the front stalling right over top when you then look at radar loop of past few hours. Compare to Cambridge and say Colchester that got weaker PPN on Eastern side.

It certainly has, it's been a lovely day and the size of the snowflakes, wow dont actually think I've ever seen them that big, something was really different today that's for sure xx

Lashing it down with rain here now! Temps have crept up slowly all day. Got lucky last week to be fair so glad others enjoyed their snow day

Front still got quite a lot of oomph init.. Its starting to slowly turn now and sink back south.. I wonder if we can squeeze a few more flakes out of it.. Although temperature here is very quickly heading towards freezing again so could be very tricky tomorrow morning

What’s your current temp Surrey ? Thaw here has slowed now .

Pleasantly surprised to measure 9cm here in Dorking. Makes up for last few years.

A few photos from earlier including rather cold sheep.

How did that standing sheep remain snow free ? Are they the sheep on Rose Hill?
