Breaking up and fragmenting towards the South and East of the band, Pivot and stall stretching the band more to the S-N now, expect eastern extent is almost reached with fragmentation. Gotta hope most of it gets north of the Capital before it slides away south and east later.

The sky just farted out a bit of sleet here in Chelmsford but feels a fair bit warmer too. Frost vanishing at a rapid rate.

Ive given up window watching as looks like a non event here, however my optimistic side is instead watching through the ring door bell

Sleet started in Orpington Kent.  My only hope is that evoporative cooling will cool it to 0 again with a sub zero dp

Is this a chance?

Yes

Most of the low level cloud has cleared now. I can see the edge of the precipitation band now with the sky darkening to the south.

Apparently a secondary low has formed over Wiltshire. Could be some more snow for the south east later

Family in Chorleywood with lovely snow, Essex family with snow inbound....radar shows it sneaking like a snail towards the Neots and guess where the band is starting to fragment on the radar... c'mon you bugger, get up here now and stall!!

Few little showers ahead of the main band.

Well it seems to have gone bust for us in kent. Reports of rain in Maidstone don’t fill me with any confidence! Still quite frosty here but not expecting anything else. Enjoy everyone!

Just a few snaps my Stepson took around 15 minutes ago, of our Close, here in Lee, S.E. London.

Lightly snowing in Upper Belvedere and also settling.  Hoping we get few cm's, so I can go out for a walk in it with my camera.

Started well here about 9am, had a decent covering within half an hour, my 8 year old daughter got all dressed up to go out and build her first ever snowman.

Then it turned to rain/sleet and melted within minutes....

One disappointed tearful little girl

Back to snow again here in T Wells. Slightly whitening up the grass, but what there is looks slushy.
