Very heavy frost here in Surbiton and very dark skies with the radar saying we are about to get SNOW?️ All dressed and ready to go!

Not liking the rapid increase in temperature here in South Essex, granted I am right on the estuary. Might be the wrap around later that delivers the goods when the wind turns to the north for us.

Yh Dan just posted on Twitter saying pretty much that, rain and slops for most of the day for SE Essex and hopefully we can get the band further north that then drops south east later turning the wind northerly and giving us a covering at least.

Enjoy further west guys, Sliders probably deliver about a 1 in 10 scenario for here over the course of history and those are only when deep entrenched cold has been over the area for weeks before.

Sky ominously dark out the back to my west, nearly sunny out the front to the east. Loving the anticipation ❤️

Up on top of farthing downs and can see a large bank of very dark cloud approaching from the west . Nothing falling at the moment. But it can’t be long. Still -3.2c

Wow. Temp -1.7, DP - 2.6 at moderate elevation 250ft SW of Canterbury. I guess we might also see a dramatic rise?

Looks to me the stall and pivot is occuring now right over SW London and areas along the M4 West of London. Looks that way to me on radar anyway.

Sweet spot still looks to be the M40 somewhere along the Chilterns

It’s so close I’m sure I can see it falling from the clouds in the distance .

Looks like this band is going to give a decent dumping. Looks like It’s intensity has been underestimated. Got friends near bath who have 4 inches and it only snowed there for an hour. Looks like our area is going to do well and give snow for an good couple of hours

Yep, I’m a similar distance inland at Horsebridge and think it’s pretty much game over for us. Will be delighted to look a fool in a couple of hours time though!
