I have found my snow boots and shovel, both were covered in cobwebs as the last time they were used was when the beast turned up in Smarch

Starting to get a bad feeling for my area, I knew I should not have guaranteed my daughter a snowball fight tomorrow ?‍♂️

I can tell from my conservatory door being difficult to close and lock that the temperature in Caterham Valley is probably -4 to -5 currently (the door metal shrinks).
However due to very low humidity it doesn't actually feel that cold.

Latest BBC update really goes for a stall in the midlands it seems, we do get some in London/Kent but briefly in the morning, and briefly as it sinks away SE

Do you know what . I’d be tempted to just go back old school and not even look at the projected micro changes . Just enjoy anything that comes out of the sky that isn’t wet. Personally I had a great morning last weekend going up Reigate Hill and seeing snow . I’m fully confident tomorrow will be a repeat

MO app just updated my location (just north of Peterborough) for light snow tomorrow. I wonder if this reflects a northward correction?

Meanwhile here in west Kent the MO app has removed the sleet and rain throughout the afternoon and now has light snow, morning into the afternoon with a lower chance of precipitation. Not a clue how this is going to play out although my elevation often lets me down. I will just have to have a nose up the north downs. Or in may snow “events”,  just walk a mile down the road.

If you get some I will be happy for you ! Hopefully one of us will see laying snow

BBC forecast just now was definitely showing snow further North than the earlier one but no change with the met office... has something changed, this area is almost looking like being in on the action now...

The met office app seems to change every half hour. Currently for Wallington, it is showing one snowflake for 3 hours, then another last hurrah at 10pm. Might leave the sledge in the loft

Well that’s great news for north of the Thames. Not so for South. ??‍♂️ Either way it doesn’t appear anything significant. Assuming UKV is correct if course.

Interesting approach as I have done the same this weekend, not looked at radar or multiple forecasts or app’s. It snowed here on Friday night and today without knowing exactly where and when it was going to happen.

The only weather related  info I’ve seen is on this brilliant thread, seeing the excitement from people posting that they have snow.

Also the BBC mainly use ECM I assume which is very different from the UKV model which shows the snowline north of the thames/ North London northwards

Well he seemed pretty confident snow in to south east and midlands he wasn’t sure how for north it would go.

It's almost impossible to call for tomorrow. Seems like anywhere from Birmingham down to London could be stuck under heavy snow..

I'll expect nothing and be happy if/when it arrives.
