Snow has quickly switched to rain here now, thaw in progress

Nice while it briefly lasted.

Just driven through Epping Forest. Up in the village there must be about an inch. As soon as you drop back down to lower levels. Slushfest!

A few miles away from me and they're having loads of snow as seen, I could count the snow flakes on 1 finger here, what happened why has it not Sleeted for more than at most 10 minutes about 3 seconds of snow and a few hours dry how did we miss most of a big system like this.

Main roads were not gritted. Epping new road had quite a bit of snow on it as I drove into work.

Earlier 1cm snow covering here in St Albans now rapidly thawing, which is fine by me. If it's not going to look like a picture postcard it can do one.

Still chucking it down with snow here in Norwich - looks like the heaviest precip is still to come as well

Settled on roofs, grass, cars and the road. No sign of it turning sleety or rainy - think I may be one of the luckier ones.

Yeah the second front looks much more potent but but might be the beginning of the end. Either way finally happy to see some settling snow!

Heaviest snow so far, starting to cover the roads and pavements.  Biggest flakes mixed in now which suggest the temps are starting to rise a little.  Might see another hour before the rain gets here!
