It's Snowing!

Been snowing since at least 6am in St Albans, now (7am) quite heavily, biggish flakes too.  But only about 1cm so far.

Snow now beginning to cover our gritted road.

Raining ice pellets now in Ely... still not sure what to make of this mornings prospects. Looking unlikely we’ll get the 5-10cm but can’t rule it out yet as the main band is just starting to set in.

1.5cms on top of the hill...I went for a quick walk just to hear snow crunching under my feet.

Back in the valley now and it's already turning to heavy rain washing everything away.
