They don’t have a lag like we tend to either. By the time we are getting snow in March, they’ll be back to having mothership supercells and 28-30c days!!

Yh continental climate so much better as the poster above says our little Island surrounded by water has a lot to answer for.

Finally, seen a couple of flakes - I think, in St Neots !

It's still raining here and I'm five miles SW of St. Neots!

The band looks to be finally advancing southwards now, so hopefully it won't be too long before it starts snowing here..

Another step away from interesting wintery weather for us on the updated met office further outlook. Tuesday's update sounded good for us but yesterday's and today's definitely backed away from anything interesting down here. Pretty much sounds like a continuation of what we currently have. Cold, at times, but not cold enough for snow and more rain. Uck!

Behold the snowfields of East London.

(sorry, can't make the graph on the right any bigger. The orange line means "flood" though)

Absolutely thoroughly rank day here near Epsom!!! The garden has a pond, it's now turned colder too (although not cold enough to have changed the rain to snow which had potential yesterday!) so once again I'm sitting here cold, no snow, no snow likely (lost my heavy snow forecast for Sat morning!) with the grimest view from the window!!!

Still have a little hope left in me for snow potential end of the month but also seriously doubting it too because... well, you know, Southeast England!!!

Already starting to have dreams about an early Spring starting end of Feb, lots of sunshine and warmth in March and being in my garden more!!xx

What a pile of pants...............even satdee's chance has been down graded to a flake or two if you're lucky.

The flip side, is that hopefully, our spring/summer/autumns are going to be cracking for hot weather, from hereon in......................

I know it's only 14th Jan, but I'm bored now. Roll on the heat.

Just up the road in Cobham and I can agree the worst day here too ! The river mole is rising fast too wondered why no weather warning for rain and surface flooding ..?

Decided to spend lockdown in Leeds, I just knew London was going to be a flop.

Currently snowing, we'll reach 20cm at this rate if it continues
