Very cold and frosty here too.

Even below zero on the Essex coast -0.9c out there at the moment, probably will lift somewhat with the cloud cover increasing in the early hours.

We were down to -2.7c on the Sussex Coast 30 mins ago. Now on the way back up again,  -2.3c and rising.

Max of 4.7c here today.

Here in Burgess Hill, I Was very lucky to witness snow for 5 mins yesterday morning at 7am thought I’d video it incase no one believed me! 
 

-1.6  cold here tonight and a nice -2.3 Dew point typically!  let’s hope the warm up isn’t very warm and the cold don’t go to far away

-1.4 and a slow steady drop this evening in Orpington.. what is of more note is that there are no  stars or  moon nor is it foggy.. so quiet impressed with a drop like this under cloud. But why?

I know I just lookedon there  but the last entry had that annoying caveat which essentially excludes the ‘far south’ from some epic snowmageddon or other..

Everytime I've looked on the mod thread Narnia has been coming...in ten days time. That Met update seems to suggest there is a high probability of the SSW failing to deliver severe cold to our neck of the woods.

Probably a case now of trying to enjoy the upcoming high pressure and warmer temperatures and seeing what the Met say in seven days time...

Seen my first snowfall this winter!! Just drove home from work fromEast London to Benfleet and see light/moderate snow falling On the A13 between Stanford le hope and Pitsea. That will do for now

This little shower here that popped up over NE London developed and gave us both a lovely surprise as it came SEwards

Latest ECM shows some interest for later in the month fingers crossed it develops further to give us a little more than this ❄?

Warmed up a little here overnight..

Don't think tonight will be to cold due to the easterly wind direction keeping us slightly warmer.. 

Saturday and Sunday night different story as high pressure builds in and we get some clear skies.. Could be lowest Temps of the season in our region..

Oh come on paul! You know its a tradition of every year for the kids to have there annual gathering of mass rattler bashing at each others 14 days from now predictions of snowmageddon.  Think its in a rule book somewhere!

Just been for a morning walk and was surprised that there was no frost at all, definitely warmed up over night, was very frosty when I went to bed.  We can’t even do frost now .  Let’s wait the magical 10 days, looking good then ha!

All Showers seem to be Strengthening but keep an Eye On the main that's rapidly strengething and who knows what could happen after that hit's land perhaps further showers could develop even closer to Kent possibly bringing snow or sleet.
