Second time in 10 days a perfect Cheshire gap trajectory with cold air in place has produced rain or sleet here and snow elsewhere, including places lower down. Yet again I just can't understand Shropshire's weather, or should I say Shropshire's effect on weather!

The weather type radar, you can literally draw the borders of Shropshire based on where the blue is. So many weather maps you can do that; Shropshire shaped holes in the radar in thunder setups, Shropshire shaped clouds on the satellite in settled summer weather, Shropshire shaped colours on temperature maps (lower in summer hot spells, warmer in winter if any precipitation is around, colder in winter when its bone dry). It happens so often....

Keep on course cloud!  Here in Edgehill it’s -4.3!

It's gotten heavier now with more moderate sized flakes. Sugar dusting on all surfaces.

Agree 100% there must be something geographic that causes it! It does happen time and time again. I is not that we are just unlucky. The clouds in summer you could bet you house on, clear skies in 90% of the uk, then this grey stubborn muck slap bang over Shropshire!

The Beeb seem to love her. I prefer her stand in Beccy Wood. Bonkers and cheery
