None of the models suggest Sunday being a good day for the Midlands generally. It’s tonight and into tomorrow where things get more interesting

Went to bed at midnight was sleeting!

saw reports of snow in my region in the early hours

was up at 5.15 and there was nothing on any surfaces so it couldn’t of been much !!

I really hope the showers can survive their journey over here because that otherwise looks a brilliant setup. I fear though that the Peak District will just see snow building and building up while I see occasional flurries.

I wouldn’t right today off either

Them showers that are to our NorthEast are projected to be over the North of our region in a couple of hours and wouldn’t be surprised if we see a few flurry’s in the East of our region to

can clearly see the shield on that, but is moving southwards slowly, 6pm maybe our chance

I may have slight advantage, unless wind is NE'ly, ENE or E usually okay

still disappointing models later in week, all of them now just cold and dry Thurs onwards, where as they were showing snow!

I've not looked at SE thread, hope not to the whole day

Wind has started to pick up here in Notts, its a bitter one! Looks like some snow showers packing in to the North East moving south west over York, and Sheffield. May just clip the north of the region over the next few hours. I reckon some more. May hit land further south over Skegness-Bridlington area, which could be a direct hit to the North Midlands

 Here's hoping anyway!

We need to see the showers start to appear over the Wash area and then they can spread into most of us. Those showers do seem to be spreading down the east coast now and appearing on the Lincolnshire coast, have to see if they continue to drop South

Think we might just be North of the snow shield

Well the BBC forecast graphics showed it looking potentially very snowy tomorrow though it was quite clear these are streams of showers so some areas will be lucky whilst others much luckier
