I'm confused, the radar shows us to be dry but it hasn't stopping snowing so far. Has it now stalled?

Snow has just reached south Derby according to my girlfriend. I don't think it will make it here unfortunately

Seems to be playing tricks on the radar, met office and rain today apps have shown me dry for almost an hour but there's still a dusting coming down.

Around 8cm here, getting very light now but the band is curving nicely now.

If I could sum up my winter so far I would say that today has been the biggest letdown but in most winters it would be the biggest highlight.

Precip South of coventry moving west to east. The bigger area further north moving east to west. Suggests the low pressure centre somewer inbetween. Whole system will start to move South very soon now.

This is crazy. I have never seen moderate-heavy snowfall like this with a dry spell over my location on the radar. It has been that way for the past hour we're heading towards around 6-7cm now, with no sign of a let up!

Going to take the Dog for a walk across the country park soon, I will upload some pictures when I get back

5-6cm now, best snowfall since 2018 and it pushes this winter up to decent 5-6/10. To think I was 10 miles away from nothing, fine margins has been the story of the winter.

It should be snowing for a while yet. Albeit i doubt it will be as heavy as earlier today.

That's it now here over north Wolves, just a little fine grainy snow falling now, temp also creeping up -  0.7C now, dripping will commence soon.
