Met Office yellow warning for snow has now been extended north and east bringing more of the East Midlands into the warning zone.

Looks like stall point will be a line from just north of birmingham to Peterborough.

Kind of snow falling that's useless for a snowman - very dry! (But lets be honest, who cares!)

Our only hope now is for the pivot and that lump to the east lands smack bang over us. Bit far fetched I know.

Shane, honestly, don't write this one off yet. Telford still looks to be in a good position. Assess it again at around 10-11am and see what kind of snowfall you have by then. I would expect at least 5cm for Telford, by the time this is over🙂

That yellow blob to the SE looks like it could be turning our way, watch it get as far along the M54 as Albrighton and sail past...

Think Northamptonshire likely the sweet spot, poss into Leicestershire also. Met office now showing snow till 11am for Birmingham/West Mids, possibly a few flurries later this afternoon/evening also.
