Few posters on the North West thread saying it could be as far North as the Wirral and Cheshire. As I'm right on the Border of Cheshire and North Staffs I'd be happy with that.

I have to come back into my own forum after strolling off to others, They all seem just as convinced as the Midlanders.

In the last few hours, we have gone from snow all morning and day, to completely dry, and now to broken patches of light snow to cloud to heavy snow to cloudy... I've learnt this winter not to look and believe any MetOffice forecast anymore. It's never been accurate.

Yh met app are still guided by the models so only worth looking at for general pattern. Gonna be a good old look out of your window scenario.

North east shift of 20miles from that is about perfect.

pretty buzzing for tomorrow now on what we’ve seen tonight. Fingers and toes crossed Midlands wide! HOWEVER, still prepared for it to fizzle over the marches, nothing’s a cert until it’s accumulated!

Met app, still shows no Snow for the ST7 area

And now suddenly we have Snow symbols for 11 hours of Snow

40% chance for 12 hours of snow in the ST6 area according to Met.   Netweather forecast on the other hand has 0% all day

EDIT Everything outside is covered in a thick layer of ice, car's are white with it, even the hedges have a pale sheen to them, so anything that does fall is definitely gonna stick.

Hello Midlanders... so judging at the current projection the front is a lot further north than previously expected and slightly more moisture in the mix. I am up in the Staffs Moorlands and our MetO forecast has changed on the hour every hour... now supposedly looking at 12 hours of snow fall, an hour ago it said nothing.

this is going to be a window checker I reckon but deffo some surprises for our patch I am

guessing!

Met office dont like changing warnings outside the usual 10-11am time period regardless

Must disagree with that statement I’ve known warnings issued early as 4 am in the morning once or twice between 2 and 3 am in the morning if need be I am sure the Met will issue the warning remember that have a lot more data than what we see here. Good luck everyone hope the whole region get snow so here’s to a snowy Sunday for the midlands.
