Pfft! bbc weather just a few flakes of snow possible on Friday, mostly way north of here the good stuff

They purely just copy the ECM. Don’t even seem to do any data analysis.

A bit chilly today around 4.c  max with a windchil.

models look abit pants to say the least.

Imagine living in the Us and getting hot summers and cold snowy winters every year. Looks like record cold for them.. again

Cold rain for us.

Things can change it is annoying when things look so good for UK cold.

Just want a week of snow and ice days.

0.c here dp -2.6

It's a bit juicy what's coming in from the east though isn't it?

Icon did best with last weeks snow accumulations. Expect it won't be far off for Friday also. Let's hope Arp can pull it out of the bag this time.

Hard to say its finally balanced. Its all about that front and if it keeps its intensity wich is 50/50. Clearly its going to break up as it pushes South. I think personally NW of the region between 2 to 5cm and places like Buxton getting 10cm plus. Rest of the mids its picking up scraps and a dusting here or there from showers that break of main band.

That’s because the ECM isn’t interested in it.

It has 10mm of precipitation and only about 1cm of accumulating snow. Either thats a rubbish ratio or nearly all of the snow isn’t going to settle

Nope...

Is a trailing cold front moving towards the SE.

It was forecast to decay as it moved southwards, but is now believed to develop a small low over NW Midlands as a kink.

we will see,

MIA
