Snow increasing in intensity. Its still wet though, and the temperature has now dropped to 1.2C.

Snow being 'waved' about by the wind even though it is still wet. Looks like rippling curtain rapes as they run in front of the wind gusts.  Visibility pretty poor like this mornings fog. Horrible now outside.

Setting on cars, grass, bins but not yet on the road.

Lovely rain here.

Looking forward to cold weather though even if no snow.

Not expecting any this whole period never do well from these which is sad because when we do well here it's usually not cold enough to stick around.

Just got cold enough to snow and all the precipitation has past.

GFS Ensembles. Basically, over 5 days away, they haven't got a clue what will happen massive disagreement from all the GFS member runs.

Very nice up there mate, although can be a bit issolated in Winter.

Used to do loads of taxi work up there when I worked for Kidsgrove Taxis.

I'm just down the road and can view it from my Front room.

Someone wake Matt Up, we have light Snow in Chesterton, Newcastle

I'm directly East of you, and saddly to say it's now stopped again.  Though looks like it's finally made it over the moors and is heading in fast

Seems to have got light again now and don't think it's even all snow now. Doubt I'll get a covering tonight here now really.

Absolute rubbish again, rain rain, so much hype for the last 5 days, which I got suckered into...the GFS is rubbish at predicting snow, the models cannot forecast snow...Developing accurate snow forecasts should be the Met Offices priority.  I am saying it now..l my area will be predominantly dry this week, we may have the odd shower but it will melt.... I’ve had enough now.... I give up. bye

Saying that looked again and it is all snow I think. Blowing quite wildly in the strong wind. It will still have to get a bit heavier or temps to drop further soon if it's to settle though.
