Yep, I'm afraid it's the sort of radar picture we're going to see a lot of in the next few days!

Sleet mixed in with rain over Eastern Solihull at the moment, but encouraging hearing reports of the precipitation turning fully to snow for some to the East

Massive flakes here in Leicester. Settling on car roofs and also selected surfaces.

Lawns of people who shop at JohnLewis and M&S  only for now....other lawns later.

Would disagree. Seems to be maintaining intensity as it approaches.

Been trying for an hour plus.

And there it is...like someone flicked a switch. It’s now snowing.

That didn’t take long.

We had sleet which has turned to snow but it doesn't seem to be settling what so ever, however its another day on the count of 'falling snow' either way. It'd be lovely to have a small base layer by morning as this could stick around for some time, so fingers crossed!

Hinckley gone from big flakes to smaller flakes but still a lot coming down. Assume as its got colder it's turned more the to powdery type. Oh well it will stop in a bit and was nice to see. Good luck to everyone else, looks like that band will be all snow for you, so you might get a slight covering
