We seem to get a bit of snow just as the precip fizzles out, never enough to turn the ground or even the car white. Once I can take a walk and feel/hear that wonderful crunch of snow packing beneath my feet - that’s when I’ll know we’ve had a proper snowfall. Those are the best walks in life. Maybe tomorrow if that NMM is correct.

Well they've made further progress than the last batch, halfway across Shropshire. They can die very very quickly so won't be convinced until I see the snow falling.

I’m very convinced as it’s now snowing here

We missed out on the heavy stuff literally by a mile, hence why nothing has settled here.

Just damp out there now with some little patches of last night's snow left.

Ah well, nice little surprise. On to tomorrow...looks risky at the moment though.

I think wherever the band of snow hits tomorrow, there will a good couple of hours of heavy snow and quick accumulation. It should be quite an active trough for a time as it moves through.

It will be interesting to see where the pivot zone is as I think those areas could see 10cm or more.

Had 20 minute heavy snowfall  an hour ago, settled briefly, sun is out now & can hear drips galore, will be nice and icy later.

I don’t think it’s going to be tomorrow either. Latest MO forecast dries us out completely now.

At least we’re lucky enough not to be sitting on zero snow this winter. If we can’t have it tomorrow, let’s hope it goes to someone who hasn’t seen much yet.

Yeah 12Z ICON is a slight improvement, still could do with more northern adjustments, where it will pivot will be crucial

Just to show here are the 13:00 and 17:00 frames, the band will pivot so places under the band will see quite a few hours of snowfall

Wierd Met app says dry and sunny now. I do think Bristol/Worcester will be the pivot zone. South mids might get some light snow. Arpege further North, Icon further South so far so still some uncertainty.
