Ended up with about 3-4 cms in the end, biggest fall since March 2018!

What on earth that system was just heavy cold rain here? Its suddenly turned to snow over Birmingham... Now crystal clear but doesn't seem to be any frost.

Best snowfall this winter was the one that started with 10C and torrential rain. Really has been bizarre

Great big heavy wet flakes but it layered quickly to leave a few CM but already in an hour it's melting on roads and pavements hopefully the grass survives with a frost.

As usual nothing here in the East Midlands. We've had half a  day of lying snow since Christmas. It snowed briefly Wednesday night but failed to settle.Surely our luck has to change soon.

a couple of cm here, grass covered pavements and road.  But melting already, caught the last 10 mins of heavy walking around the block with my cat following, so lovely.  (2nd walk of the day so don't grass me up for rule breaking #F COVID!)

Snow turned sleety once it became lighter here and melting the cm that settled. Hopefully the Cheshire gap streamer fires up tomorrow.

this is only the 2nd event for Hinckley - if you call it that!  so pretty to see, came quick and the grass is covered, but melting already.  Our first event was before new year, but the snow melted very quickly then too.
