This really is an evaporative cooling type event. Still raining here but expecting snow once the larger feature passes through!

Heavy rain and sleet just reached here.

Temperature was 3.7C now dropped to 2.6C and still falling. My DP is now below 0C.  Now temp is 2.4C

Waiting for the switch to flick over.

Yet just 4 miles down the road it is hammering it down with rain and a temperature of 5c

Just sleet here and heavy it is, hopefully it’ll turn into something better

Got to laugh. Just as more models shift Sunday’s snow risk further south, the UKV puts it further north.

2.2C here with a DP of 0.7C. Marginal but expecting the system out west to drag it down considerably.

Big flakes and heavy here. Settling really well. I would say an inch has already settled

Incoming for my back yard, eyes fixed firmly on my lamppost

Coming down nicely here in NW Worcs. Road is white now. I'd guess maybe 1 cm cover at the moment. Looking at the radar, possibly another cm to come before this feature is through.

What a contrast to a year ago -- then we couldn't buy a flake, now it seems there's interest almost every week! (Watch there be no snow at all for the rest of the winter now I've said that...)

All rain here, don't know what's going on this winter, the further South and West someone is the colder and snowier it is, complete opposite land.
