Can only get Belgium on the app. Any pics?

Arpege 6z has a "south of M4" event for sunday but brings in a weak line of snow for Sunday night.

Lots of twists and turns to come over the coming days

Added image to my post. It doesn’t run out far enough to see it crossing the country but it looks in a similar position to the models that have it furthest north.

06z Euro 4. Snow for parts of midlands 4-8pm today. Snow showers from the early hours throughout saturday and across large parts albeit hit and miss across the midlands. Sunday given it only goes to +54 does not show much

Whatever happens the next couple of days, it could be another notch on the snow count for the winter which by all means is nice compared to the last few especially those south of Stoke. It certainly has felt more wintery this season with the frosts/freezing fog/storms/snow.

BBC give me snow all Sunday.

Met Office, all Saturday.

Don’t know why the models they use for these are so inaccurate.

Looks like some snowy/sleety showers heading towards Stoke from the West.

Hopefully they won't get 'eaten' by the line of hills running down from Crewe/Nantwich to Market Drayton.

Indeed. Not sure it’s cold enough for settling snow yet. Looks better tonight through the weekend. About 4’C at the moment. Not much above freezing Saturday and Sunday. Still patches of snow here.

I do not expect to see any settling snow from showers this afternoon, indeed rain/sleet looks likely. From this evening we stand more chance particularly In the North of our area. Tomorrow could give temporary settling snow in any heavy showers but more particularly with altitude- Staffordshire moors favoured spot to see longer lasting lying snow. As for Sunday still all to play for but perhaps a more South of the region event with a few cm possible. All in all a pretty wintery short term outlook.

Indeed, temperatures are widely between 5-7c across the region...so absolutely no chance of snow this afternoon and maybe even early this evening.

Temperatures look better tomorrow and Sunday.

Again, the warnings issued today are probably more concerned with the potential of ice.

Interesting you say we have snow symbols for the weekend mate. I've got just 1 hour, in Talke. Lol. In these situations where its showing on the Southern edge of Stoke, we normally completely miss out. Lol

ICON 12Z: Corrects southwards and is generally lighter with precipitation. However, it does show another feature moving in later into Monday morning, so all is not lost!

ARPEGE 12Z: Also south

I now think any precipitation for will be confined to South Wales, SW, and southern coastal counties

Sleet/Very wet snow now. Pretty heavy. Hope the showers tomorrow are as beefy!

It's kinda' strange, as the radar also shows us up here being in the thick of it, but there's nothing whatsoever, not even drizzle.  I think it's all just blowing over us before it reaches anywhere near ground level.

You’re really not missing much!

GFS 12z ramps up the snow shower risk for England and Wales tomorrow and still brings Sunday’s trough further north and east.
