It’s going to have to come down really heavy to settle on such warm ground.

Edit: Even more so now my road is submerged in rain water.

UKMO fantastic for Sat! but cannot see snow lying on flood water

It’s currently 8’C, mild and absolutely pouring with rain in Soaked-on-Trent.

In the next few hours it should fall close 0’C with heavy snow in Snow-on-Trent.

It feels surreal!

Wow. Much further north. It has though taken Sunday’s feature much further south.

This is the projected radar forecast for 10pm  ( v8 ) looks like the NMM....

we’ll see

The cold air is undercutting the squall line!!its amazing to watch on the precipitation type radar live!!!!is this the snow event that gfs was forecasting more widely across england a few days ago?!!

Mad. I’m seeing loads of reports of heavy snow across other parts of Stoke and I’m still seeing mild conditions and torrential rain. Could change over any minute.
