Bizarre changes on my meto forecast today (automated, I know) we’ve had sleet appear for tomorrow pm, then show as rain again. Since late afternoon it’s increasingly shown snow. Just now, it’s forecasting 4 hours of heavy snow from 11am, then light snow to 7pm. Has the modelling shifted that much??

Yh all models have it now further South and West. ECM nearly has it in the West Country. Mine just changed to 9 hours of snow lol.

I saw a Tweet recently that said,

"Sometimes, it's OK not to have an opinion"

I like to remind myself of this sometimes when on social media or forums and I think it would do some other people good as well.

However, with the weather this week...never mind having an opinion, I haven't even got a clue!

And that's my contribution I'm afraid.

I'll let you know if it snows here.

Wish I had read the Steve murr posts... Always find it funny how stressed people get. Enjoyed his cold weather posts though

Hope he comes back.

Anyway not sure on snow chances seems too mild.

Remember 252 fondly. The reception got worse later in the evening but was a great station (or at least I think it was!)

2.2c here in Burton it's hardly dropping at all amazed at the difference in temps by distance.

I think any of us will have to be very lucky to see any snow.

Didn’t the two of them work on a net weather winter forecast a few years back?
