Felt almost spring like in the sun compared to previous days. Reached a peak of 4c. Tomorrow light snow forecast for the higher moor drizzle for this location.

Got down to 2.2°C, temperature has since rose to 2.7°C and flatlined...

Plenty of showers hammering in... temps are nearly warm. 4c and 2.3 dew point! On the Isle of Wight...: Annoying

The showers aren't really making it here anyway but it wouldn't matter if they were as it's 3.8°C here with a DP of 2.7°C.

Various tweets saying that a major ssw is inbound,could be a case of hoping and praying I guess. Let's hope the pieces of the jigsaw fall into place for our region because I think we must of mislaid a few pieces.

Let’s face it. This has just been a cold spell. Nothing really of more note. Temps will be around 4c today and rain.. get it every year! What a disappointment

One thing that's been made absolutely clear by this run of weather is that GFS can't properly resolve the vertical temperature profile of an airmass that's had too much maritime modification for snowfall to occur to low levels.

Three times this past week, I've seen what it predicted to be snowfall - on the day no less - turn out to be sleet or rain.

So, it's only worth viewing other modelling (but maybe not GEM) in the short range (or longer if the model has strong model support), when it comes to precipitation type. With which in mind, Thu-Fri offers supportive conditions for snowfall but signs are, we might not have much if anything falling to begin with .

Moderate precipitation shown to have passed over but nothing bar a few lone drops appear to have made it to ground... doesn’t bother me, it only would have been rain!

We had a slight frost and partly cloudy start with some moonlight then hazy sun.

Since mid morning it’s been raw, windy and drizzle in the air, 2.6c .

Light, cold rain, on and off over last couple of hours here, BS34. Took a walk along to our local Screwfix and the wind is raw. Hard to believe the rain wasnt light snow. Maybe it's just my age. Stay safe

Low was 1.0°C at: 07:47...

Cloudy and dull this morning, looking at the radar and there’s heavy snow... I mean damn rain moving in off the North Sea. 3.9°C
