If that's correct, my area might be too far north to benefit?!

maybe but i guess that fax doesn't reflect the latest information? not sure when they get updated.  Ultimately it's going to come down to waiting until sunday to see what precip is around and then if we get any seeing what actually falls.

Indeed, I have feeling there will be more twists and turns to come yet and could be a nowcasting event!

Looks like another damp squib coming for most low lying areas myself but hope I'm wrong.  1 - 3cm low ground.. Hmm.

After last years bust and 1st Feb 2019 being the last decent snowfall, I'll take that 1 to 3cn, just to see snow falling would be nice to be honest.

Strange to hear the potential of heavy snow and South West England in the same sentence.

Doesn't work for me not sure why. What other places are mentioned? And do they say the likelihood of it?

Mets graphics are a right mess! All just blends into one!

The track and timing of the first low is uncertain as is the potential for a second system to push through early hours of Monday morning!

You can see the second system on both EC and GFS. This could be better than the first if it is maintained on the models and doesn't disappear. I have a feeling timing and track of the first system will have an effect on the following one.

It really gets its act together on the GFS 6z. Will be interesting to see how the 12z deals with them both.

Frost to start, and sunny until half an hour ago. Now rain is moving in from the west. Cold air still not quite here.

Well whatever it is it’s heading straight for my house lol. I’m down at 40meters elevation now, might take a drive up the hill if it’s sleet/wet snow down here

Totally agree, peaking at 9.7°C, that certainly isn't cold air..

I think it was blue. I'm a bit colourblind.
