A low of -3.1°C here. Not often that it's at -1.7°C at 10:30am either.

The lowest temperature was -2.2c so I guess fog stopped it falling further. It had risen to -1.4c but now dropping again at -2.0c. 
 

Chance of a rare ice day but it is slowly brightening up.

Minimum of -4C. Very foggy all morning so far and holding at -2C.

Lets hope we can salvage the cherry on the top with some snow tomorrow.

Met Office just issued a snow and ice warning for parts of the south west for tomorrow.

Was 0.5c at midnight, after a mid afternoon yesterday of 5.4c
The drizzly showers we had yesterday amounted to 0.8mm.
A low of -0.5c at 7am.
We had a slight frost early morning that was visible on the fence tops.
Now -0.2c, cloudy, 1019.2, very light NNW wind.

Yes, includes a good portion of our region;

It does however, exclude Dorset, Wiltshire, Hampshire & the South Devon/Torbay/Plymouth area.  Sorry guys.

Despite the NMM model not being my most favoured, it has up to 7-8cm over Exmoor and 2-3cm for surrounding areas.

Not a million miles away from the Meto warnings then;

Snow possible anyway, although as per usual, higher ground favoured for any accumulative snowfall.

Coldest night of the Winter so far last night with a low of -4.4°C, which makes it slightly colder than New Years Eve's -4.3°C. At last, some proper frosts! Last year, the lowest temperature for Winter itself was -0.8°C (though -2.0°C was then achieved in March), so I am happy this Winter so far actually resembles Winter.

Fog has just developed. It may suppress the temp until later. -1.1°C just before midday is very impressive for here.

The last, and only, time it’s been below freezing at this time of day while I’ve lived here was 1st March 2018 which had snow on the ground. Cloudy with fog at times today. -0.5°C

Yep totally agree mate, two frosts weve had and thats it.  Few rain showers but mostly drab 5 or 6 degrees last week or so. (Granted today in netley is a little chillier)

I love snow as much as everyone on here, I only like to see a bit of falling snow, but even that is getting more difficult! I fancied snow in the morning but even that has almost disappeared. The whole country under a warning except southern counties!couldnt make it up

That's not far off excluding me here in Yate! Hopefully an eastward shift nearer the time to get everyone involved. 

It would be nice to cap off this cold spell with some decent widespread snow for the region.

Freezing fog all day here in Yate. Just been out and thermometer in van was showing -2C. Don't know how accurate that is though.

A beautiful cloudless crisp day. I’m genuinely looking forward to the relative warmup in a few days, having contracted the dreaded lurgy I have changed my priorities somewhat. Hopefully by the time I’m shot of it we will be looking a another blocky set up and more hope of some white stuff further south this time.
