I'm guessing this one shown on the Arpege 6z:

Yes, it's clear they also expect showers to make if further west based on the strength of the wind which picks up.

The 'streamer' has now reached me and it's now snowing the heaviest it's been all day, but still very light in nature!

Those showers to the east are making it over slowly but my God it's torturous going. My optimism is fizzling out as quick as they do!

More showers will pep up tonight. Then stronger winds coming in should help shift things along.

Actually after looking at the wind direction and speed of the wind which will pick up I think there is a chance of something more noticable this evening and tomorrow. Were still in the game yet.

Can someone explain why the hell precipitation peps up and skirts around my town? If it was plain old rain it slams head on, snow just skirts around or fizzles out before it gets to me and then peps up once it's passed. I don't know why but I am getting so freaking frustrated it's actually really sad

Would that include the Isle of Wight?

Settled a tiny bit in Shanklin IoW but stopped now  Does anyone know if that’s it for us or will we get a bit more??

Nothing substantial at the moment but there are light showers dotted about and heading in your general direction.

Hope you get something, I have a soft spot for the IOW and particularly Shanklin, I imagine it would look even more lovely in the snow ☺️

Is this what you've seen?

Looks very interesting for most of the Southern half of our region. Snow starved south coast!

Does look quite light in nature, but it may pep up?

Yes would include IOW, the direction of the streamer will be close. Especially when wind direction shifts a little and picks up.

Yes BBC have indicted snow tomorrow morning based on a steamer coming in from that direction. They expecting things to pick up this evening and Winds to increase which will help pull the flow more south west.

ECM did show a chance of a streamer making it into Dorset but I've not really looked at the latest runs this morning to back this up.

Painful, isn't it? Normally the south west has more precipitation than anyone needs. Now that it's properly cold? Nothing.

There we we go Met office app has moved towards BBC app for tomorrow morning.

Winds are going to change and pick up shifting the streamers into a better position and further inland.

Winds will shift more eastily.

My morning weather summary is going to be 'Teasing Snowflakes Dancing At the Window'.

Been a near continuous scattering of flakes in the air since around 8:30 am.

Hopefully the modelled improvements in flow strength and alignment bear some fruit by the evening, or at least sometime tomorrow.
