watching that radar all morning and there is deffo a westward movement to them showers, just hoping to see a few small showers today and ill be happy with that for today lol

Just seen that! Even people just miles west of the heavy incoming band are moaning it’s not arrived as planned. Jeez this could be a 24 hour event for them and it’s obvious it’s getting colder. There’s even a few flakes falling where I am and it’s come from that direction! I’d be very happy if I was that close to something moving my way, late or not.

GFS for Friday morning, 

The end of the week is our best shot at some more widespread/persistent snowfall. Hopefully the models will continue to bring the front inland far enough. The front also needs to be ahead of the milder air aloft. Its going to be all about timing/intensity and positioning.

Morning All, an overcast start to the day as the beachcam shot shows nicely, with 'Anthem of the Seas' facing in to the offshore NE wind this morning. Currently 2.8°C, so only marginally above the overnight low...RH82% and the current DP 0°C....

Temperature dropped to 0.9 down from 1.5 at 6.30 and wind increased as well.

Just need some snow!

Just had a light snow grain shower nothing on radar but shows they are getting through already

Temp has been dropping slightly since first thing and the DP also.

Was 3.1c at 8am with DP of 2c, now 2.7c and DP of -1.5c.

If showers did make it this far they should fall as snow.

I think that’s the issue. The timing in reality compared to these charts is always 2/3 hours earlier or later. Make or break

So there are! Some appeared for the early hours here and for most of tomorrow morning
