Hmm I’m not sure- it just never gets cold enough here

Yeah you will. I favour IOW more than here at the moment. Further east you are the better. You also got more chance of a streamer setting up.

That's something you won't have to worry about. It's more about where snow ends up falling than being cold enough.

Incursion of mild air from the Atlantic on Thursday potentially slowed down on the latest gfs run. Improving snow chances further west or stalling the fronts for everyone else?

Thursday's front doesn't even make it past Devon!

At this rate, by the time we get to Thursday/Friday, any Atlantic frontal PPN probably won't make it past Truro and many of us will remain very cold (albeit less snowy).

18z MAXIMUM 2m temps for next Saturday afternoon;

Looks like it’s just starting to turn to sleet/snow in the SE according to the radar

Indeed. Our lamp posts replaced with LED ones last year. Nasty white hue. Not sure why they can't use a warm white?! Anyway gin sounds like a very good idea. I've got a bottle Hendrix too, Luna variety!

Do any other Oxfordshire folk actually hang out in this thread or flit between them all? Lol

Who cares, it's 3c here and raining a little!

Banished to the north-eastern corner of the room sporting a dunce hat.

Yes indeed very intriguing to see how it plays out and the bearing it might have on another bout from the east.

Any news on Tuesdays feature, has that all but gone on the 18z?

Looking like its sunk into the channel. One of those rare times though Plymouth has more chance of snow than dartmoor!!!!

Tonight or over the week? Thanks

Over the week. Tomorrow onwards definitely Tuesday plenty cold enough for snow anywhere. Your better off in an eastily especially if it swings slight south eastily. Your more likely to get a streamer chance should one set up. See how it pans out next few days. Just the beginning judging by tonight's runs.

Yippee!! I’m getting really excited! Even if it’s just cold, I love it! I can’t wait to get out and have a walk tomorrow already even if it’s only just starting

Haha that made me laugh. I also feel like an imposter but I like the south west more than the south east!
