I'm hoping that you're right in the mox

Thanks, yes my location was looking good to benefit from the pivot on last night’s high res models and so far I’m happy with what’s happening on the radar.

As expected. Just rain here in BH12, only a mile or two inland it’s all snow

Hi Alder’s, I can feel your pain used to be like when I lived on the south coast

just a couple of miles in  Romsey could get snow and New Forest Winchester Basingstoke yet Soton Docks rain .
good luck hope it changes , love Bournemouth .

Hammering down here still

About 4-5 cm at the moment

looking good on the radar too , the gap that formed from the main band abd large shower clump now closed up

also change to more horizontal flow from initial southwest n/e direction

marking the start of the pivot

Near 50 p size aggregating flakes now - must be getting a bit close to marginal.

Big lightning flash to my south and a deep rumble of thunder. Unfortunately not quite snowing here yet so I can't claim my first thundersnow!

Wondered where the lightning strike was. Just heard the rumble in Winchester. No actual snow yet, so not technically thundersnow, but exciting nevertheless.

Looks like it is gone off here. Cant quite make out if it has as no lampost looking out from spare room to back garden.

Hail in Winchester after a few flakes and heard the thunder of course..

Now snowing... And switching back to hail as I type..  Helping to get a covering as long as we get enough snow on top...
