I'm not in the best place for tomorrow, although some models still want to give me something so as others have said it's just a case of wait and see what falls from the sky as far as I'm concerned.

Its going to slow down though.. isnt it.

4.30am alarm is early enough surely?!

I think it is supposed to slow down as it hits land.

Ive taken that into account...also, the front is just starting to have ppn in advancement of the main band (similar to "katafront" principles).

If i was to bet on ppn for those three cities i would guess sleet/snow in Plymouth...snow in exeter and bristol...

Looking forward tomorrow to day 10 of snow falling from the sky so far this winter. That is not a bad score at all. Hopefully, this time it'll amount to more than the dustings we've had so far.

Well, it is very icy here already, a nice glistening white on road and pavement outside Chez BB (BS34).

Ground conditions perfectly set for the early morning snow onslaught. Ok, likely light snow for an hour or two come daylight.

Latest Metoffice forecast has bought the snow arrival forward for me to light snow at 6am, heavy snow 7-9 and then light snow at 10.

As Paul shows above Euro 4 showing the front a little more active, snow into the west of the region early hours.

True true. Any white on the ground will be welcomed, for sure.

I thought I'd change the avatar to reflect the SW weather. "Tears in rain" spring to mind. (It's from Roy Batty's speech in Bladerunner)

I know they're not most reliable, but my phone app, this afternoon, was showing snow falling from 05.00am right thru to 15.00pm for tomorrow; however, now it just shows snow from 06.00am to 10.00am.

Boo!

The Pivot scenario looks greatly favoured for our Midlands friends unfortunately.

Although as ever, things don't go to plan and surprises always pop up, never say never etc!
