Well, tomorrow's snow looks heavy but rather brief but I suppose you have to take what you can.

Signs in the extended of a cold end to the month but if it's another Easterly/North Easterly you can stick it.

Nah after tomorrow's event I would be happy if all roads lead to Spring

Sod's law.

I agree but imagine a repeat of last April May June. I think we deserve it!

I reckon it will hit Amber, at least for some.

Last throw of the dice Tonight and Tomorrow morning regarding snow from this spell before much milder air sweeps in.....has been bitter cold in the wind since last weekend albeit disappointing for snow for many - although great to see the west coast getting plastered yesterday ......will feel very spring like temperature wise from Sunday and next week for sure albeit much wetter......don't think winter is finished with us yet though and I am looking at or around week commencing 22nd Feb for next possible cold reload .....milder spells have lasted 8-10 days this winter alternating with similar length colder spells .... seems to be a repeating pattern.......We will see ....

We should have a competition, see who gets the deepest snow. Out with a ruler tomorrow, take a pic and post on here.

My money’s on Sperrin

Bits of sleet falling this afternoon on and off... just went outside and a heavy burst of snow came for a few minutes ...thats 5 days on the trot now with snow falling ... stopped again for now but bodes well for you further north tonight when the main band arrives.....not expecting much if anything here tonight, maybe some wet snow for a while before it turns back to rain.....the joys of the Irish winter

Thanks for the info.

It sounds really positive and a near time upgrade rather than the usual downgrade of forecast.

Just hope the "wintry mix" rather than snow for coastal areas doesn't come into play.

Living about 5 mins walk from the beach so I am!

The only issue for me is being right on the East coast. Worried it'll just be the sleet/freezing rain option here. Can always jump in the car and drive inland a little though.

Yes I’m eyeing up Ballyclare if things are sleety

I'm right in that orange zone! BTW, who runs that page? Is it just an amateur operation for a hobby?
