Ecm looks decent for around here Sunday.

Yes eastern areas could see some snow tomorrow. ...on Sunday and in to Monday snow risk extends further north ....earlier this week the models suggested that lows this weekend would barrel  through in milder air....now sliding in cold air...same could happen mid next week...... models all over the place but still expect sjgnificant cold spell to hit between 3rd and 5th Feb.....

The models were showing that for Saturday then Sunday then Monday..

It all shunted South East nearer the time, so I ain't getting excited yet.

Interesting that they've left out the East.  I wonder why.

I would think it is because of Easterly wind on windward coasts, most likely be sleet/rain in these areas due to sea temps.

I'm 127m!

I'm about 200m........from walking down and touching the sea . Not good as an IMBY perspective, but I do have some local hills that may get a good covering.

Looking good for central and northern parts tomorrow...more northwest the better with no onshore wind    Donegal could be sweet spot....

Last Saturday looked similar and they were correct then with it travelling much further North. I can only guess but their high res model must be showing it travelling further North than the others ones.

Hopefully the icon 12z takes it further north donegal in the action Tuesday looks to be best chance but the cold spell looks to break down then.

Cecilia Daly's graphics looked crap there.

Very little snow and temperatures up to 8 or 9 degrees next week.

Looks like we're the wrong side of the fun.

Good looking output for next weekend for those of us on the east coast of the island. Wouldn't take many tweaks to make it a country wide event.
