Temp has stalled here at -1.4c this last few hours. Breeze just stopping it going lower. Few spots further south were at -5c a few hours ago. Could be a minus 10c somewhere.

It is my coldest night so far at a chilly -7.4°c currently or so the thermostat in the back garden is telling me.

Incredible cold night! I'm at 400' asl and its -7c.

NRA station on N2 Monaghan is -8.7c. kells -9c.

Found new neighbours in the field. 

I have pumped well water in this house. It appears to have frozen overnight.

Ice day ahead I think.

It got down to 8.2°c last night. This is the lowest its gone in over a year.

Coldest night since I moved to this house 5 years ago. We expecting rain later or could there be snow? Freezing rain maybe?

I think it’s to get milder at lunch time.

Temps up to 1.1c so nice ice day unfortunately. Still a fantastic winter's day out.

Beautiful winters day here in South Kilkenny....blue skies and not a puff of wind......frost and ice remaining on ground away from direct sunlight.....looks like another frosty night to come and possibly foggy before it gradually turns milder.....great 2 weeks  of weather just gone and hopefully next cold spell just around the corner......

Very encouraging forecast on rte now. Not looking particularly mild now with temps of only 3c tomorrow and 6 or 7c  Monday.

Not too sure why the gritters are out... the temp is currently 3 and according to met office to get warmer overnight!

Skies cleared a bit earlier and temp fell to 1.3c but cloudier now and up to 2.2c.

Wasn't expecting it to get as cold here tonight. - 5 degrees at midnight....still a clear starry sky with severe frost.....temps across southeast still widely between - 1 and -5 looking at current weather observations....
