Snow is really becoming scarce as hen's teeth in this country

Yeah I have got to the stage now where if it happens then it happens. Won't lose any sleep over it. Lol. Maybe it will turn more to snow the further South is moves

Snowing properly here now, everywhere light covering. Heavier precipitation should be here shortly.

Had some snow here since half 4. Very light snow mainly but got a bit heavier about half an hour ago. All the footpaths and roofs have a nice coating. Was good to see.

Pity the precipitation wasn't heavier this morning because we had the ideal conditions here in Kildare.

No snow here but plenty of ice. Fell off my mountain bike then fell again as soon as I stood up again

A good covering here this morning. Lovely view, shame I have to work today!

A dusting at least overnight. Good dry crunch when walking on footpaths. County Louth, back garden. By Tuesday we will be in 10 to 12 degrees, to be honest I look forward to it myself, but perhaps I am totally mad, but this cold spell has been long enough for now.

Just had rain here but the footpaths are lethal with ice!

If it's raining in Dungiven, no chance anywhere else!

Only two weeks to go, what can go wrong?

This actually matches what the Met office longer rangers are pointing to, as the Arctic air mass moves West and meets the moist Atlantic air. Where the two meet....BOOM

Good covering this morning but only about 1cm. Sun is out now and temps up to 1.9c and a slow thaw is on.

Believe it when I see it.

Nothing but rain here at 500 feet with temps of only 2.5 degrees.
