Tonight and tomorrow morning looks like the last chance saloon for snow from this current cold spell for most before it turns less cold / milder over weekend in to next week...Good luck to everyone and post photos if you are in the snow zone.......Hopefully a much less marginal cold spell will follow later in January with more significant snow for all ....

-0.5c here after briefly hitting -0.7c. cloud had definitely increased. Ground is dry and frozen solid so if I don't get laying snow from this I'm moving.

Cirrently showing mostly as rain on netweather radar over northwest ....with a few blobs of sleet and snow mixed in.....Hopefully will turn more generally to snow as it continues to move inland

Hey BIG LAD. I'm now at 450ft / 137 mtr. Up only 22 meters.

Every metre counts in marginal Ireland! Temps down to -1.3c now.

Watching the radar and precipitation has really begun to bulk up now off the coast. Lots of lovely green echos heading thus way, any reports from @Donegal?

Tempt here is up to 2.1c

I dont think you'll have much chance of snaw at just above sea level Gary.

I still think about 500 feet for certain snow, 250 feet to 500 feet, could be sleet or snow  below 250 feet, rain.

No reports of snow so far just rain in donegal on boards.ie

Should turn to snow as it sinks South and east in to the colder air .....

Couple of flakes falling but I've seen worse cases of dandruff.

While looking at radar Scotland gets hammered with snow from the same front.. ...typical

Still according to Met Eireann some places will see a few cms ....so some will likely get lucky
