No snow here but lots of lovely blue skies, light winds and crispy sunshine is the next best thing (and the ground is frozen solid).

Maybe not so much during lockdown! Also I guess the market is shrinking, but it's still there and for many places there are still few good cards - the photos are of a limited range of corny subjects or the same old themes, little imagination.

The showers are not even making it through to Irvine looks grey to the west and north off Arran. But nothing making its way over to the main land

Well my plan to get to the top of one of the Coreen Hills today didn't exactly work out. There was way more snow than I expected, and although the dog deceptively managed to stay on top of it for most of the time, the wife and I were regularly sinking up to our knees. Glorious day and an enjoyable, but tiring, walk anyhow. 

I may have to look at investing in some snowshoes like @Benvironment uses.

Had a grant total of 0 showers so far, can"t believe when we have great parameters suitable for sea level snow and I haven"t yet managed a shower in a northwesterly flow. Prestwick managed a bit of snow this morning as well as Irvine but everything seems to evade me at the minute. Hopeful of something this evening

Disappointed watching the radar as the showers head towards me and die away. Cracking day though, and frost out front remained all day. Pair of buzzards catching some rays earlier

Exact same here in Helensburgh. Had a dusting while I was sleeping last night but nothing today. Really annoying seeing precip die just before getting here - especially given the rarity of the sea level snow parameters being in our favour

Well, the house boiler has finally switched off. It's been on since 3:30am, trying to keep the house at a comfortable temperature.

-1.5C here now. 0.9C drop in the last hour.

What an absolutely stunning day! Almost -3c already on the garden sensor! Took the kids up Warklaw Hill in Currie which is 278m. Snow almost up to my knees in places! Hard to believe I could look down and see Edinburgh Castle in one direction and my house in another!

With the exception of 5 mins of fluffy flakes, no showers have reached here today. 
 

Got out for a circuit round the village. Frost hanging on in the shade and everything freezing up again now.

A shower or two made it this far overnight so we have a covering, just, that's hung on where not hammered by the sun.

We got out for a quick walk round this morning. Good views of the Cannich hills (above the cows) but Wyvis was obscured by clouds. Plenty of birds around including a flock of bramblings which I don't see too often. And a dead young buzzard.

Overnight lows here were -2.4C / DP -3.4C sitting exactly at 0 C currently 

think there are enough troughs?    Looks like more snow showers in the highlands maybe across to @Ravelin or even @Mair Snaw and a few more around the west coast. Looking at the temp forecasts could be more ice days over the next few days and some places getting near minus double digits at night.

Perfect position for the latest incoming showers and they fizzle out a few miles before they reach me!

Nice day, mostly sunny and no precipitation of any kind.

Temperature -2.2deg.C down from 3.2deg.C max at 14:54, humidity 91%, wind between 0 and 6mph east-southeasterly, pressure 996.9hPa steady, rain gauge has measured 0.4mm but that's melt through from last night, and the dew point is now -3deg.C.

Like others have said the showers fizzle out before they get anywhere near the Ayrshire area so not expecting anything in Glasgow. 

Went for a walk in Cathcart Cemetery as Linn Park is so busy these days. Great views to the north on a cold frosty day. Some spectacular headstones in there but this one with no headstone caught my eye.

After reaching the heady heights of 2.5c this afternoon, the temperature fell away quickly and is currently -3.5c, DP -5.5c. It’s certainly a chilly one!
