Ladies and gentlemen you are not going to believe it. After a wait of almost 3 years... 😮

I don't suppose I have anything to complain about this winter...      .

I've waited years to get a picture of the house covered with snow.  Finally!

Like someone's flicked a switch and plunged us into spring. Really is mild out there now. Warmest it's been easily since Boxing Day (needless to say a lot of water around with all the snow melt)

The mild air taking time to reach the north east T 3.3c dp 2c think it will arrive soon and flush away the remaining cold air ,clear to see the cold air in the temp map

I've got my eyes on the potential warmth next week, in the uppers at least. Then yes, looks to me like many of the favourable factors for cold in place. We'll see!

Light Permagloom today but feels so mild, currently 6.5c with light winds (good to have those back!).

Had to head into Westhill this morning and surprised at how much more snow was there, goes to show how localised the snow showers were last week.  Roads clear but some major potholes appearing.  Thaw has been swift but thankfully no flooding, about 2cm left on the grass.
