Right place and right time this morning and we have an inch of fresh snow between 6.00am and 7.00am .Currently -1c and more showers showing up in the Firth on the radar so looks like a nice snow showery day with the best wind direction of NNE for us

Same here except so far just a dusting with big fat dinner plate flakes drifting down. (I exaggerate a little...)

Met office going with heavy rain, sleet and light snow everyday from now until Sunday, complete frenzy, most interesting week since the beast of 2018

I wished I still lived in Dundee looking at the models. Endless snow for a week away from coastal area along the East coast, yeh jammy Bs!

Only person to ever say they wished they still lived in dundee 😂

but yeh it’s an interesting set up. East coast with a little bit of elevation looks good, as does a lot of places

6z runs all moving the mild air much further north for the middle of this week. Looks like more easterly muck here unfortunately.

Wouldn't worry about the GFS 6z. It's the worst performing run of the day.

I'd be trying to see if the snowblower I inherited with the house actually works.

Yes, the weekend onwards looks better for here. Thursday looks dodgy in terms of cold rain. Fingers crossed.

    • Mixed bag this weekend, some sun and some rain

Dry with sunny spells for many on Saturday, though a band of showery rain for parts of the north and west. Heavy rain moving into eastern areas on Sunday, turning brighter in the west. Fine first half of next week, unsettled second half. Read the full update here

Hints of autumn. Warm sunshine for the weekend but also rain from the west

Hints of autumn are making themselves known, fog and a coolness in the morning. Leaves beginning, slowly, to turn. But there is still warm sunshine for the weekend but also rain from the west. Read the full update here
