Down to 0.9c here now. Looking ahead I see GFS is off on one for Monday, Tuesday and even into Wednesday 😂🤣

Edit: Edinburgh Airport showing 3c! Maybe my garden sensor is borked? 🤔

I'm hovering between 1.3 and 1.4, so I suspect your sensor is correct. Perhaps the Airport sensor is being affected by concrete/tarmac?

@asjmcguireyes it's a lockdown thing, I now wear shorts 98 per cent of the time... It was not wise tonight

Sleet and wet snow falling here. Not sure if it will come to anything, the higher parts of the M77 are getting a good dump by the looks of the traffic cams but not many other places yet.

As expected it's just lashing with rain here. It's maybe a bit sleety. Pretty horrible!

Heavy rain when I left which was leaving a slushy glaze on everything. Pretty slippy.

Elevation not helping here either, most of the snaw on the Ochils being washed away

The snow must have got heavier here as there is the remnants of a covering being washed away by the rain. Looks as if it turned to snow under the heaviest precip.

    Morning all

Raining here all morning - as expected.

Here is what the Met Office are going for later - looks great for parts of the NW/N/NE.

Looking further ahead the risk of snowfall for us on Sunday/Monday is dwindling! Precipitation is struggling to make it further North than Central England and Wales on the current charts - back on Tuesday night it was showing as moving through Scotland!

Also noticed the Met Office sneaking away from it on my regional...

Northern parts are forecast to have wintry showers through the weekend but god knows what is in store for the rest of us. 😄

All the best to you all.

I know it’s a while off but what do you make of the potential for next Tuesday?

A slight covering of snow here this morning, nothing to what it’s like in East Kilbride though.

Looks very interesting as we head into February as you can see from the post by @Kirkcaldy Weather 😃

Scattered snowflakes falling in slow motion outside. If I look out of the lounge window I can see a snow shower just to the East of Alford.

Occasional moderate snow showers coming through here too this morning - none have lasted more than about 5 minutes but enough to leave a covering. The ground is still frozen solid which obviously helps.
