Temp here is a frosty -1c and DP -1.6c according to my garden sensor. I expect it will rise as the cloud builds.

I can confirm rain! Currently freezing on to ground with a thick layer of ice. Just in from a walk and could barely stand up by the time I was back at the house. Amazed there is no ice warning from the Met.

Will see what those further inland and with a bit more elevation get.

If you have rain, then no chance of anything remotely white here.

Temp creeping up! -1c earlier and now up to -0.5c!

It’s clouding over that’ll be lifting the temp, the snow will bring it down again lol

Very sleety now. Quite noticeable on top of the car. Tonight is a frustrating case of close but no cigar.

My daughter in N Glasgow tells me the rain has turned to snow now and has started to lie.

Here fair at -1C and that cloud looks to be staying well South of us unfortunately.
