The band moving across Ireland to me looks very well organised much more so than the forecast predicted definitely worth a watching

I hope so.... BBC have me down for an hour of light snow at 1500.  Hopefully it doesnt fragment across the irish sea.

I haven't been out but unsurprisingly Fubar, a NE Facebook page, reports endless roads blocked or badly affected by drifting all over Aberdeenshire.

I thinks it’s still looking very well organised and would expect to fall as snow along the Ayrshire coast ??

Very interesting, may well just be some surprises out there this afternoon.....

All the latest raw forecasts for here show some sort of snow this afternoon unto the evening

The 2 radar images below, 1 hour apart show the front making decent eastward progress too, enough that maybe the Western half of the central belt could get some interest.

I take it from the lack of Ayrshire posts there is not much going on elsewhere either?

Strange isn’t it
