Missed the heaviest of the snow in the last few hours, but still a good 1.5cm topup.  Now -1.2c.

Wind noticeably stronger, will be making the gritter lorries job even harder.

Pity the snow melt wasn't until Thursday - kids now on holiday until then.

This time next week it will be feeling positively springlike if the apps/model thread is to be believed..

Sadly not today as work has got in the way. Planning to take the day off tomorrow though to enjoy it before it starts to disappear.

Did you make it up there? I decided it was a bit too cold myself!

Wow, how typical that I would actually end up too far EAST for today’s snow! I’ve mainly missed out this far due to being too far West for the heavy precip to make it I basically live on the west coast.

Dubai Floods: Another Warning Sign for Desert Regions?

The flooding in the Middle East desert city of Dubai earlier in the week followed record-breaking rainfall.
