Love this

Where did you find this? I have a colleague who lives there that I think needs to see this.

Edited to say snow’s back on again and cars that are coming into my street are struggling far more tonight than they’ve done all week. Neighbours having to dig others out. 0.6c/-1.0c 89% humidity.

Really heavy snaw shower just now... every surface covered in an instant, really strong wind too.

A lad from Aberdeen sent it via WhatsApp. Any bizarre spectacles in Alford, he takes great delight in forwarding them to me.

The sad thing is, if that was a dog or a cow stuck on the main road, the locals would be rushing to assist.

Heavy snow in the city I think we should see the last of it for the night by 11pm longer for inland locations in the north east

Lots of reports of Thundersnow around Stonehaven and Laurencekirk area on Facebook, but nothing on the detectors. Maybe it’s doesn’t show in snow compared to rain on them ?? ?‍♂️

Still not much falling here it splits and the main intensity of the shower goes elsewhere ,as altostratus said Kingswells has been hit as per normal my brother lives there they always get the best of it near the city the 150m of elevation really helps them with shower intensity

Quite serious conditions tonight even to relatively low levels in inland Aberdeenshire tonight. Bit of a miss from the met office - even with the Hilux on winter tyres and some fairly committed/aggressive drift bashing it was touch and go about getting home tonight.

Much more severe than anything earlier in the week.

Yes will fade off quickly after 10pm and it's on its way to Caithness
