been under this blob for just over an hour, could there potentially be a short term red warning? Conditions merit one imo

Where were you? We've not tried to walk on Sui Hill for over a week as there was nowhere to park anymore for a start, and just expected it to be far to deep to be pleasurable. Been out again with the dog along a dead end, therefore quiet, minor road just down the hill a bit that has been ploughed but still white. Caught a short moderate shower on the walk and it's just started snowing again at the house from the big yellow splodge on the radar.

These radar echos might be the best I’ve seen so far! Almost have a “training” feature to them. Someone is getting pasted this afternoon

Its just stopped here but yes was a crazy 45 mins and more big blobs just coming into view on the radar.

Met Office - Snow

BBC - Snow

Netweather - Snow

Diablo - he say no.       No no        No no         No!

I'm in the west wing looking out the parlour window. Well blow me, Diablo takes the prize.

means Edinburgh and the central belt get what Dundee and Perth are getting just now !

Thats up beside Correnie quarry, its frozen solid so ice skating definitely an option. I reckon I could have got to the top with snow shoes.  I managed approximately two thirds up the hill before packing it in. Sometimes the snow would hold you, the next step your falling through feet of snow. I have no idea how deep it is further up, but it was getting dangerous so I called it.

The snow started while I was heading back doen to the car. Driving over Tillyfourie it was almost whiteout conditions. 

Back at the house its toned down a bit.

A few really intense showers there, think we're probably a couple of inches short of Ruzzi's haul in Caldercruix but still some serious snow. 

Looks like the flow here is more due east than it's been, which probably is a good sign for most of us given where the convection is lined up.

All Happening to the north of us... 30 miles or so north east of us. Here we are just getting very brief showers.. hope it just shifts that wee bit further south !!
