@101_North and other Edinburgh friends......this is painful to watch. Surrounded by some beasts

Just not happening so far. Still managed to scrape a few cm this morning though. Fingers crossed for later and that line moving south.

If I have to watch one more shower split over us... I wonder what's causing it or if it's just random! Not like there are any big hills between here and North Berwick/Dunbar

That's the best blob we've had all day, incredibly heavy and we're only at the southern edge of it. Hopefully a precursor for more.

It has lost it real intensity as it neared such a shame but still a decent shower

Yeah, I'll be honest. I forget how to diagnose realtime areas of convergence. I need some help finding some good mesoscale operational tools in Scotland! @LomondSnowstorm

Thinking the same thing. I could pretend that I know, and I probably did at some point. But I forget now. Time to open up the old textbooks?

Not sure if just me but is anyone else having issue with Netweather Radar? Nothing near Central belt on mine.

We all good! Panic stations for a minute there.

Not quite sure what this guy was thinking trying to go over the Cairn O’Mount?!

Last shower to pass over deposited a fair amount and by looks of the sky, the next shower isn’t far away. Plant pot has now all but vanished on the table.

I think the shower clouds are starting to move in a more straight Easterly rather than ENE of earlier.

(Looking good for Edinburgh and Lothians going by the radar).

Yeah a line setting up now east of Dunbar ❄️
