Graupel arrived here in Dumfries which is surprisingly far West, a good sign hopefully!

Going up a few modest hills today 500/600m so shall feel the force of the keen wind!

And normal service resumes in 101 land a very similar pic here im pleased to say as we go from ridsulous horrible big wet flakes of recent times to now beanbag snow and that beautiful crisp smell of cold air as you open the door to let the dog outside.... Looking fwd to a nippy family walk today.

I think as far as falling snow goes Monday into Tuesday morning will have more falling snow especially further west (looking at the UKV it seems like there'll be a good amount of snow south for central areas too) whereas by Wednesday into Thursday it's more likely to be dry as the flow gets slacker, most likely.

Light Snow falling here in dundee, light dusting on all surfaces already. Dundee and surrounding areas , fife and Angus look to be absolutely buried within next few days.

Odd flurries  of powdery snow here but can see showers going onto the coast at the other side of the Firth Fields to the west of Tarbetness lighthouse are white at sea level this morning not a common occurrence  for them.  Temperature falling now  -1c
