It has thrown it down all day, been some rather gusty periods too. River very very full.

I'd tell you how much rain we've had, but the sensor appears to have died some time over the winter.

If it does snow, it'll probably float away....

140 metres. Every little helps!

Stick it in your profile just after your location.

Wankshittery radar is on overtime tonight for the black isle.  Absolute nonsense.

Yeh "heavy snow" here too, the curse of the SErly. We'll see sweet F A unless there's a kink in the isobars.

That's it! There's 2 Newbiggings in Angus (very confusing) but I'm right beside Tealing.

No change up here in Arbroath, still hammering down and very gusty. (18m asl)

There’s some intermittent light rain here if that is any consolation.

Right through this spell we've been on the wrong side of marginal be it precip, height or anything else. What we've got this morning as a perfect example of this  - cold, wet, damp rain. Forecast still claiming snow later but I've long given up on this. Unless its an old-style sustained northerly then winters of old are finished.

I got a message last night from my boss about ‘Charles Sna’ that was mentioned a couple of pages back. Seems that while he was out clearing roads around Strathdon, the weight of sna on the roof of one of the cattle courts brought it down. Thankfully no one hurt and all the beasts were out but it leaves him looking for housing for the cattle for the foreseeable.

1489ft seems to be the highest point in Nenthead - 454 metres is the highest point I could find with the lowest point being around 425. Yep, that's high!

I've actually heard that a place called Coalcleugh near Allenheads is the highest in Britain
