Hi yes it has a tpms sensor unit, not sure if it has a reset switch ? as it’s an new car to her but an older model , I’ll check it tomorrow and make sure there’s not a reset button . Thanks for the advice . I’m used to skodas not Hyundai’s.

A friend up in Strathdon at 390m reports the blowing snow continues. Although a tractor did manage to make it up the road for the first time in several days. Hoping to ski out to them and drop off some essentials tomorrow so will report back!

I think we are in danger of over analysing this easterly....... Best spell for many in Eastern half for a while... We would have snapped folks fingers off for this at start of winter... I would love to do @Penicuikblizzardidea and not look at charts but I just can't.... And neither will he as I type this walking the dog it's the coldest my hands have been for days so an icy nip to air already.

Down to 1.3C. At 21:00 charts say the 925s turn negative and 528 approaching (including Edinburgh)..... Big flakes here with sleety pish in between.

Isn't it funny how you have an epic event on the right side of marginal then assume the next marginal will be equally good and then be really grumpy when it's not!

Actually enjoying the dry, cold and windy weather we're having, doesn't stop you getting anything done.  We won't be getting any snow so it's dry and cold winter days for the next few days which hopefully is better than sleaty pish any day. Enjoy what you get folks, it's the weekend so whatever is just fine by me.

Just  been for a walk in the higher parts of Aberdeen between 110 - 130m - snow falling is dry and is lying on some cars and grassy verges. otherwise just a very thin layer of slush which should turn white overnight.

That’ll be Charles on the Tractor, his farm has the Strathdon snow clearing contract with Aberdeenshire Cooncil, it’ll be one of the better winters for him this year.

After pretty much a whole day of rain (30mm of it), it finally turned more and more to snow from around 3pm onwards. Considering how much rain we’ve had, I’m actually surprised that the snow is already lying, but it is so I’ll take it.

A lot more pink echoes starting to appear round the south of the Pentlands too! Temp here down from 2.3c to 1.5c in the last 20mins.

SNOW WATCH ISSUED FOR TOMORORW! 
> 10cm quite widely away from immediate coasts in NE Scotland and up to 15cm or more could fall further Inland and especially over higher ground. This will slowly ease of tomorrow afternoon.
> Frequent snow showers will build up across N Scotland where 3-6cm could fall in many places to lower levels and up to 10cm locally!
> Later on in the day in the MINOR area snow will start to fall to lower levels as cold air rushes in the E, however snow to low levels will only be remnants of what's left with the persistent feature of rain/sleet and snow tomorrow evening therefore snowfall will likely to be on the lighter and patchier side before ( after graphic valid ) more frequent snow showers move in during the earlier hours of Sunday.

Can confirm a good covering on all surfaces here. Hopefully it stays that way...

That's him, the photo was titled Charlie Sna Ploo! 

I expected they would have needed the blower to get up there but I guess it just depends how it blows in. 

Light snow falling here now - looks like proper stuff after a day of wet rubbish.

Where in Aberdeen are you at 156m? Highest point in the city is 130m so you must be just outside somewhere...

Kingswells - still technically a city suburb but right on the city/shire border. Snow getting heavier now and building nicely.

It is showing up very nicely on the TrafficScotland road cameras currently. There seems to be some form of intermittent sleet here this evening.

Yes, the snow is the heaviest it has been all day here and is accumulating at a much faster rate. Just looked out the window to see a car struggling up the hill.
