Temperature now up to 1.7deg.C, humidity down to 85%, pressure up to 1000.0hPa and rising slowly, dew point has risen to -1deg.C. Sun is out but not much of a thaw in evidence so far. All in all a rather nice day.

We got out for a quick walk round this morning. Good views of the Cannich hills (above the cows) but Wyvis was obscured by clouds. Plenty of birds around including a flock of bramblings which I don't see too often. And a dead young buzzard.

Hardly any thaw again today.   TV forecast has tomorrow's noon temp at 5c here.  We'll see.
