Aye, MetO forecast for Alford tomorrow has changed so there's not even a sleety element to it, rain all the way. Of course if it's that here, you have no chance.

Another freezing rain and snow warning out for Saturday, a lot of uncertainty and mentions that lower levels in the east might get rain....

Appears to be RAINING on the Leadhills webcam at 400m - I was sure that would be all white at the moment

Yes, this surprises me. Fingers crossed for those further east, I think overnight conditions will improve for the Eastern contingent but a non-event for here.

Currently 0.5c and moderate rain, fair bit of ice about

I’ve just had a look in the mad house winter is over  ( London and the south east)

Definitely all doom and gloom in there.

Still looking good here for many of us in Scotland. Snow chances for many today, tomorrow and now new warnings out for Saturday. The models don’t have a clue what’s in store for next week but it does look very interesting for sure. Plenty of fun and games for us lot over the next couple of months

I wonder what type of prepishytation I'm in for then?   Oops... I've just answered my own question!

NW radar heavier incoming looks as if it will split north and south of Fife.

Quite a common occurrence actually...   Ochils?

Dubai Floods: Another Warning Sign for Desert Regions?

The flooding in the Middle East desert city of Dubai earlier in the week followed record-breaking rainfall.
